We landed in Milan on Monday, the 28th, with just under twenty-four hours to explore Milan for what it was worth. We were all tired but that's part of free travel so we quickly checked into our sketchy bed and breakfast and set out to see the main attractions of Milan. We really wanted to see the famous painting of the Last Supper by Leonardo Da Vinci but unfortunately you have to make reservations before hand. We then wanted to see the Duomo, which we got to see, and it was beautiful. We found a gelato place right next to the Duomo so naturally we all decided to get some. Gelato was really good, and I have a hard time deciding if I like that or crapes better. Anyways, after we visited that area for a bit we decided to head to the San Siro, the famous soccer stadium in Milan where Inter Milan and AC Milan both play. It was yet another impressive soccer stadium, but unfortunately I didn't get to go in. By then it was already seven o'clock and we were really tired from being up since four o'clock in the morning, so we decided to go eat some pizza then head to bed. One of the highlights of the day involved Alex getting pooped on by a bird which sort of represents the kind of day we were all having. Regardless, Milan was a pretty cool city that represented the industrial side of Italy, but we were all ready to get out of there and head to Interlaken, Switzerland. Until next time.
