After Milan, we hopped on a train towards Interlaken, Switzerland. Interlaken, for those of you who don't know, is a smaller town in Switzerland known for its beautiful surroundings and options of outdoor sports. Some of us were considering going skydiving in Interlaken, but backed out at the last second due to money reasons. We only had around twenty-four hours there as well which turned out being enough time due to the size of the city. Our hostel had a ping pong table and foosball table so the whole first night we were there we just hung out and played. We also met some people at our hostel who were traveling around Europe who were from America more specifically Alabama. It was nice to hear a southern accent again even if it was a strong Alabama accent. The next morning we got up with the ambition to do a hike even though none of us brought the proper hiking clothes or gear. There were several options of hikes, so we just picked one and started climbing. The only downside of the hike was that we were forced to carry our backpacks with us because we had already checked out of the hostel. About halfway up some of us were satisfied with the great view we saw (pictures below) and decided to go ahead and stop. After hanging out at the spot for a bit we made our way back down and where we waited for Jacob and Luke who decided to go all the way to the top. We had a seven hour train to Munich that night, so we had to load up on food before we got on the train. We found a grocery store and spent all our remaining Francs (Switzerland's own currency) and got on the train. That was my second time to go to Switzerland and again I was in awe of its beauty. It's one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen and has the best chocolate I have ever had. Regardless, I was actually ready to get out of there and head to Munich purely because I wanted to see something new. We got to Munich late that night and that's where I will leave you. Until next time.
